Start with the uncooked batch you make.
Dash handles the smallest portions. AROMA ARC-363NG and the BLACK+DECKER offer simple automatic warm settings. Zojirushi NHS-06 intentionally skips keep warm. AROMA ARC-914SBD adds grain programs and more capacity.
Are all rice-cooker cups the same?
Use the supplied cup and the corresponding pot markings. Rice-cooker cups are commonly around 180 mL, smaller than a US measuring cup. Cooked yield varies by grain and preparation.
Does a bigger cup number mean a bigger uncooked batch?
Only when the numbers describe the same thing. This guide labels uncooked and cooked capacity separately. Check minimum quantities and grain-specific limits in the manual.
