These five are polyester microfiber sets, so compare actual pocket depth, pillowcase dimensions and trim before assuming a different marketing name means a different fibre. Mellanni, Utopia and CGK offer deeper fit claims than the selected 14-inch Amazon Basics and Bedsure sets.
Will microfiber feel cool to everyone?
No. Bedroom temperature, bedding layers and personal preference affect comfort. We have not measured heat retention, moisture transfer or long-term pilling for these sets.
Does a large thread-count-style number prove quality?
Not on its own. Check the actual fibre, construction, dimensions and care directions. Do not treat a collection name or cotton-equivalent claim as a measured cotton thread count.
